人はこの地球に住む微生物の一種だと思っています。この星の大地は微生物が健康にしてくれてるのだとすると、人には何ができるでしょうか？そして建築や空間デザインが貢献できることはなんでしょう？私は屋久島を拠点に土中の菌なども活用した環境を再生させる「Regenerative Architecture」をデザインしています。

We will create a good relationship between nature and people through buildings.
Humans are a kind of microbes that live on this earth.If the earth of this planet is kept healthy by microorganisms, what can humans do? And what can architecture and spatial design contribute to?Based in Yakushima Japan,
We design "Regenerative Architecture" that enriches the environment by utilizing the fungi found in the soil.

小野司
株式会社tono
代表取締役 / デザイナー/ 菌築家

1977年東京都生まれ。早川邦彦氏他の設計事務所にて建築家修行の後、2007年リノベーションディベロッパーの株式会社リビタに入社。約9年間勤務の後、2016年株式会社tono設立。リビタでは大型のシェアハウスやシェアホテル の企画デザインを多数手がけ、生活様式、価値観が多様化する中で、ハード・ソフト両面からの場作りを実践し続けてきた。その経験をもとに、単なる表層のデザインに留まらない新たな付加価値を生む空間をプロデュースしている。

特に、自然との関係性を深める「菌」を活用した建築設計・デザインを得意とする。
現在は屋久島の「Sumu yakushima」を拠点に世界で活動中。

Tsukasa Ono

Born in Tokyo in 1977. After training as an architect at Kunihiko Hayakawa and other design offices, he joined the renovation developer Rebita Corporation in 2007. After working there for about nine years, he founded tono Inc. in 2016. At Rebita, he has been involved in the planning and design of many large share houses and share hotels, and has continued to create places from both a hardware and software perspective as lifestyles and values have become more diverse. Based on this experience, they go beyond mere surface design to design and produce spaces that create new added value.

Specialized in architectural design by using 'Bacteria and fungi' to connect human and nature.
Based in 'Sumu Yakushima' at Yakushima island, Japan.
